Sony launches Xperia X in India. Powered by a Snapdragon 650 SoC priced at Rs. 48990
Sony has launched its brand new smartphone Xperia X in India. Sony changed its traditional sleek design with a metal back this time around in the Xperia X.
The smartphone has been painted with a “tone-on-tone approach” which means that the front and back are of a single and continuous colour. These colour options include Graphite black, White, Lime Gold or Rose Gold. The all-metal body gives the phone a real sense of durability and sturdiness, while the smooth back and rounded corners make it feel generally satisfying to hold.
It has a 5-inch Full-HD IPS LCD display that has stunning black levels and a high contrast ratio.
The main focus of the smartphone is definitely its camera. The “future-focused” smart capture camera features Sony’s Predictive Hybrid Autofocus which lets you pick a target and tracks it. It has a 23MP sensor which can launch and capture a photo all in 0.6 seconds. It has a 13MP camera on the front for great selfies. However, there are some key weaknesses. The camera cannot shoot in burst mode, and is also unable to capture 4K video which is a great disappointment.
The battery is of 2620mAh which promises to bring an awesome battery life. Moreover, it has a great sound- stereo speakers outside, Hi-Res Audio and DNC inside. The device has an easily accessible hybrid dual-SIM tray which doesn’t need an ejector pin to be opened.
The Sony Xperia X is powered by a Snapdragon 650 chipset coupled with 3GB of RAM and runs on Android Marshmallow out of the box. Xperia X comes with 32GB of storage which is expandable via a microSD card. It also has a fingerprint sensor on the side. The Xperia X is priced at Rs. 48,990 which is same as Galaxy S7.
Xperia X will be available 7th June onwards.
